In an unfortunate event that unfolded on Sunday evening, a 61-year-old lady lost her life in a vehicular incident in Brooklyn. The tragedy implicated a Toyota SUV, bearing TLC plates, which was heading north on Fourth Ave when the episode took place.
Near the intersection of Senator St, in Bay Ridge, at approximately 9:56 p.m., the vehicle made a fatal contact with the woman, according to police reports.
The severity of the accident was such that it left the woman with critical injuries. Rapid response by medical staff transported her to the Lutheran Hospital in Sunset Park. Despite immediate medical attention, she could not survive.
Significantly, the driver chose to stay at the accident site until the police arrived. Currently, the case is in the hands of the NYPD's Collision Investigation Squad, who are diligently conducting their examination.
