A Bronx man faced a tragic end when his motorcycle collided with a pillar just a block away from his home. Timothy Lopez, 33, was riding his 2017 Honda CB300 south on White Plains Road in Williamsbridge.
The accident took place at E. 217th St. near the elevated subway tracks around 11:10 p.m. on Friday. The impact of the crash ejected Lopez from his motorcycle onto the pavement.
Unconscious and suffering from head trauma, Lopez was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center by medics. Sadly, despite their best efforts, he could not be saved.
